Three Day Bahamas Cruise

I went on a three day cruise to Nassau on Carnival with my family. This was a short trip but very enjoyable. Carnival is known as the "family cruise" everyone and their children and grandparents were on this ship. One benefit of traveling on a cruise is the all you eat food option. On this cruise I was not impressed with the food options at the buffet stations and the lines were very long. Also, only certain food stations were available at certain times. I preferred the sit down dinner at the dining hall over the "all you can eat" buffet stations.  We sailed from Port Canaveral, Florida Thursday night and arrived in Nassau Friday around noon. The down fall about this three day cruise was we were only in Nassau for about 6 hours. After the excursion we booked we didn't have much time to walk around the island and shop. San Francisco Mini Vacation

I was in San Francisco for three days for my cousin's wedding. This was my first time in California and the longest flight I've ever taken (5 1/2 hours from Fort Lauderdale). My cousin advised me to bring a jacket, but my south Florida body was freezing when I stepped off the plane. San Francisco in June felt like the coldest winter in Florida (60-70 degrees). I had to text my cousin and tell him this was more than bring a jacket weather. Since I arrived in San Francisco late Thursday night, I  went straight to my hotel and went to bed. Friday morning a few more family members were arriving in San Francisco and we all decided to meet at the Golden Gate bridge. I was still freezing, but the cold weather and wind didn't stop us (and many other people) from walking across the Golden Gate Bridge (we walked across some of the bridge).
